CareNexa is a non-emergency service. This page explains exactly what to do in a crisis and how we keep visits safe.

Medical emergency

Call 999. Do not wait for a Calida booking. Examples: chest pain, stroke signs, severe bleeding, anaphylaxis, choking, severe breathing difficulty.

Mental health crisis

Samaritans 116 123 (24/7), Shout text 85258, or 999 if there is immediate risk to life. We also signpost to local NHS crisis teams.

Verified professionals

Every professional's regulator registration (GMC, NMC, HCPC, GPhC, GDC, GOC) is checked against the official register before they can take bookings.

Safeguarding

If a visit raises concerns about a child or vulnerable adult, professionals are required to report under their regulator's safeguarding duties. We cooperate fully with statutory bodies.

Reporting a concern

To report misconduct, an unsafe visit, or a safeguarding concern, file a complaint and we will triage within 24 hours.
